The house here holds its own seed, so this page proves nothing about itself. That is deliberate. What it is for is checking a round somebody else settled — the verifier is static, offline, and you can read every line of it. The one exception is the Tide: its seed is the next Bitcoin block, which nobody — not this page, not any house — holds.

II The Tide

The wager above trusts this page's seed. This one trusts nobody's: the seed is the hash of the next Bitcoin block (testnet4) — it does not exist when you bet, and no one alive can choose it. The dial above sets your odds; the tide settles them when it comes in. Blocks arrive when they please, so a wager can ride a while.
